The resort needs and overall update. The village is not easy to reach - the route in the jungle could have been better seeable.

A lovely experience

It was the second time for me, it is my little secret paradise. I love the place to be quiet when you see the rest of Phi Phi to be crazy busy. The beach is amazing.

A bit hard to access the family room uphill but the buggies were quick to get

Good stay but not perfect

Hotel is located in beautiful place with access to the sea, multiple pools and tasty breakfast

Location of our room and that it wasn’t worth to pay more for room with private pool. Our room was located far away from the beachfront, we had to walk uphill multiple times. Apart from that our yard was full of trees, so pool was always dirty and we didn’t have a chance to take a sunbath. We even saw a snake there so we haven’t use it even once. I would prefer to stay in regular room, downhill.

Definitely would re book

Beautiful setting, multiple pools, breakfast had a huge variety, staff were friendly and helpful. Good location to access island hops.

The hotel didn't warn us that it was not accessible via car so unexpectedly we had to take a long tail boat to the hotel which is at your expense. Be warned the speed boat taxi back to krabi that is facilitated by the hotel is very expensive at 1700 baht per person, we had not factored in this additional expense.

Nice enough

Beautiful beach, nice swimming pools, nice food, very nice rooms if you upgrade to more expensive ones. Well organised trips around the island. Lovely spa. Very nice breakfast if you are not vegan.

The pool and bar are are only open till 7pm which is early considering you cannot access the rest of the island easily. You need to book the sunset restaurant at least a day in advance as it has only 10 tables apparently. The pictures of the rooms do not give them justice, the less expensive rooms which in our case were 9000 baht per night need a good touch up, so not a good value for money. Transfer to and back is also expensive.

If you are looking for a quiet escape, this is a great place to stay. Just needs a bit of love!

We stayed in the sunset pool villa for our honeymoon. It was very quiet and the pool and room were a reasonable size. The buggy service was very quick and reliable to get to and from our room to the main lobby area. The beach around the hotel was beautiful. We also really liked having a cocktail at the monkey bar.

Air conditioner was infrequently working. The resort is quite isolated and after four nights we did get bored of the restaurant options around the area. The activities staff organised two day trips to us but long boat and speedboat are your only options to get anywhere and it’s a half an hour each way trip to Tonsai. This worked for us as we wanted to be away from the main hustle and bustle but might not appeal to others. We went snorkelling one of the days to Koh Phi Phi Leh but one of the snorkels we were given had a leak and was unusable. The boat driver was excellent however and the activities team organised the day for us very easily. Even though we were paying premium for our room, it does need a lot of love and care. The pool deck is slowly falling apart which is creating a safety hazard and the tiles around the pool are starting to move.

Gym needs to be upgraded with newer equipment and cooling it down. need directional signage to find it.

Lovely hotel, amazing sunsets.

I stayed in sunset villa. Fantastic small private pool, best pillows I’ve ever had in Thailand, very good and reasonably priced laundry service, very fast room service with good spicy Thai food as well as decent pizzas. Staff were lovely and helpful. Bonus points for a coffee machine with decaf coffee.

Because of its location it does have quite a few mosquitos. If your room is near the Sunset bar or far from the breakfast area cover yourself in mosquito spray before heading for breakfast.

Very Good

very quite, staff very friendly, pool villa was amazing, food was good quality and a nice selection, beachfront was quite.

Maintenance standards of rooms and resort is a bit low for what you are paying. Quite a lot of the resort facilities are currently closed due to covid.

Great beach, great stay.

Stayed 5 days in one of the beach front units. Amazing beach access and probably the best beach of all hotels in phi phi. Great sunset infinity pool. Free rental of snorkel and finns is a plus. Friendly and helpful staff. A lot of amenities are closed though due to covid reduced tourism which is understandable, and the massage has reduced hours.

Nothing too fancy in rooms and weak shower water pressure.

amazing location. maybe impacted by covid a bit.

the location was amazing, right on the beach with kayaking and snorkelling.

A lot of the hotel was closed which was a shame. Understandable a lot of this was due to covid but there wasn’t a lot of staff and no prior warning this would happen. We might have brought more things with us.

Mixed feelings, but I would do it again, since not that many options for stay on Phi Phi.

The staff is really friendly, even though most of them can't speak ANY English. The pools (3 of them) are amazing. Breakfast is delicious. The private beach is beautiful, even though the sea there is not the best for snorkeling.

1. We have booked the Coral Sea View studio, but we got the Room 628 which has partial sea - partial roof view. After spending one night there, we double-checked the photos of what we have booked and realized we have been kinda scammed, which felt a bit sad. After complaining, we got moved to 520, which was much better. The rooms are quite outdated though. Also please note that these rooms (sea view studios) are more expensive than Garden view bungalows, which we liked more once we have arrived at the place and saw them in person. Apart from the view, there is nothing spectacular about these rooms. They are quite far from everything, and for some of them, you have to climb many stairs or walk uphill. 2. What has really pissed me off is when we checked out, we have left our bags at the reception, and without any prior notice, our bags have been taken to the ferry which we will be taking later. One of the bags was a really small black leather bag, which was a bag where I kept my Macbook, an expensive camera and lenses, passport, credit card and cash. They got it back to me in 10 minutes after I complained, fortunately, nothing was missing and nothing was spoiled, but I still can't believe a hotel of this level would do such things to their guests. Since this happened just before we will be leaving the hotel, the staff were kinda angry because I have complained about it and they had to take it back, and we didn't hear even a simple "Goodbye" from them.
